Emily Chow, DDS

Emily first became interested in Dentistry during a visit to her own dentist. She knew she wanted to go into healthcare, but she was unsure which field to pursue. Then, the doctor who had treated her since childhood shared her experience, and her future was set. Emily has always been passionate about helping others. Her conversation with her dentist motivated her to explore dentistry and pursue her dream of becoming a dentist.

Emily understands and values the importance of providing patients a comfortable environment where dental needs are attentively met. Emily used to get anxious when visiting the dentist, which was instrumental in creating her philosophy of “treating all patients like family.” Emily knew she had a home when she met the team at Eckland Family Dentistry. Dr. Keagan Eckland and his team take pride in providing superior dental work while treating all patients like family and providing utmost care.

Emily was born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and grew up in Morgantown, West Virginia. Dr. Chow completed her undergraduate studies in Biology at West Virginia University and then earned a Doctorate degree in Dental Surgery in 2016. Emily is also fluent in Mandarin Chinese. Before joining Dr. Eckland, Emily worked in West Virginia and Washington D.C private practices.

In addition to her passion for Dentistry, Emily loves music. She played the piano and violin and competed in all-state competitions throughout her childhood. Nowadays, she just enjoys playing her favorite melodies after a long day without the pressure of competing.

Emily moved to Seattle with Her Husband (Eric), who works for Microsoft. They both share a love for cars and dogs. They have a 2 ½-year-old Mini Bernedoodle named Enzo (after Enzo Ferrari). Emily is also a big foodie and loves to explore the local restaurants and wineries of Woodinville.
